All Or Nothing

All or nothing seems so romantic, you see
it’s like giving yourself so completely
Not giving in to the stresses that lie
beneath the bright dreams that are passing by

But all or nothing is also so limiting
it’s the balance that tilts with a stable pivoting
Giving up something for nothing that’s there
cuz’ entirely is the only word that cares

 Life isn’t something that’s purely complete
it’s full of halves and things bittersweet
But all in all it’s a life worth your heart
with the joy of finishing just one small part
